Hands stretched out hesitantly,
A foot on the ground unstably,
Yasoda, teaching the Lord to walk.
Sometimes watching His adorable face...
Storing away the joy in her heart,
Sometimes praising the family deity:
Give long life to her Kanhaiya.
Sometimes calling to Bal
Two to play in her courtyard.
Surdas see the Lords leela

தயங்கியே முன் நீண்ட கரங்கள்

தரை மீது தள்ளாடும் பதங்கள்

யசோதா கடவுளுக்கே நடை தருகிறாள் -

ஒரு நேரம் அழகிய அவன் முகம் பார்த்து

மனதில் தன் மகிழ்ச்சி தேக்கி --

ஒரு நேரம்இல்லத் தெய்வம் போற்றி .

அவள் கண்ணனுக்கு நெடு வாழ்வு கேட்டு

ஒரு நேரம் பலராமன் அழைத்து

இருவரும் முற்றத்தில் சேர்ந்தாடப் பணித்து !



சூர்தாஸ் கிருஷ்ணனின் லீலை கண்டும்

யசோதைதனின் ஆனந்த ஒளி பார்த்தும்
